Taut, compelling and deliciously dark, I tore through The Favour, Dark, unsettling, brave and compassionate, A beautifully written yet chilling glimpse behind the curtain of relationships gone badly wrong, and the terrifying consequences of what happens when wronged women fight back. Absolutely brilliant, I loved following the parallel lives of Leah and McKenna, two strangers whose actions tie them together forever. The Favour is a page-turning debut that will have you questioning the lengths you’d go to save someone else, even though it’s you that needs saving, A thrilling debut – I couldn’t put it down!
Nora Murphy attended law school in Washington, D.C., where she was an editor of Law Review and participated in two clinics, through which she studied the legal issues facing, and represented survivors of, intimate partner violence. She also studied ‘professional’ perpetrators of domestic abuse – those with high-profile careers or respected positions in society, and the unique challenges faced by their victims. Nora currently practices family law. A voracious reader, avid writer, sometimes sanctimonious vegetarian and devoted animal lover, Nora resides in Maryland with her husband, young son, three cats and two dogs.

“Haar man is verslaaf aan homself.”

- Consider everything already broken.
Everything breaks, even rocks eventually become sand. So don't stress about it when somethings breaks! You knew it was going to happen!
- Beware of the mushroom effect of your thoughts. (She probably thinks this now. She's probably telling everybody. Now, this person will... etc)
